Meet the Team

As owners of Fastway, we come to work every day to lead the Fastway team in manufacturing the highest-quality trailer products on the market. We appreciate your business and are committed to providing excellent customer service and superior trailer accessories.

– Josh Binks, Rich Elliott, Kenny Mauerman and Jed Anderson

Not only does Josh have a lot of important initials after his name, he is a ton of fun to talk with, and is both feared on the soccer field and loved in the office.

Josh graduated from BYU in 2001 with both a Bachelors and Masters in Accounting. When Fastway Trailer (Progress Mfg, Inc.) convinced Josh to join the team, he immediately felt at home and became an owner. He has worn many hats on the Executive Team, and currently leads both the HR and Accounting Teams. With Josh’s financial guidance, Progress Mfg, Inc. has not only weathered the recession, but it has enjoyed tremendous growth.

When Josh isn’t crunching numbers in his office, you’ll find him coaching his children’s competitive soccer teams, or spending time with his family.

Most kids dream of being a superhero when they grow up. Rich dreamed of selling hitches. And his dreams came true. Big time.

Rich graduated from the University of Phoenix and was introduced to Fastway in 1996. He was the original accounting department, but the company soon outgrew his skills. Since then he has done everything here. Literally. From shipping, to HR, to customer service to sales, Rich could train just about every new employee. He tried to bend steel, but this is where his talents ran short, so he ended up in sales. Through his leadership, the sales team has taken our products to distributors and dealers all over the world.

When Rich isn’t closing a deal, you can find him on the basketball court or cheering on the Denver Broncos, whether they win the Super Bowl, or not. Rich loves watching his kids play sports and he is the kind of dad that lets his kids order chocolate cake for an entrée. Coolest. Dad. Ever.

Kenny has been leading our engineering and manufacturing teams since 1997. Kenny loves cutting and bending metal and working with the cool people of Fastway. He just may be the favorite manager here, because he doesn’t like bossing people around and prefers to spend his time building cool stuff with his team.

Kenny graduated from Brigham Young University in Manufacturing Engineering Technology. Since then, he has led engineering teams and taught them the ways of SolidWorks, SPC, MIG Welding and CNC Programming. If you aren’t familiar with those terms, it means he can build just about anything.

When Kenny isn’t bending steel, he likes to ski and spend time with his family. He also likes to cook pies in his refrigerator. Ask him about this. It’s awesome.

Our CEO is the coolest guy around. Jed likes production more than office work, so you’ll typically find him back in manufacturing, working with our awesome engineers and machinists.

Got milk? Yes, he did. Jed grew up on a dairy farm and was responsible for milking 160 cows a day. When Jed attended Utah State University, his favorite class was weed science. Seriously. It makes you want to invite him over on a Saturday morning for yard work, doesn’t it? Later, Jed received an MBA from Brigham Young University.

Jed started working at Fastway in 1994, and he liked it so much he bought the company. Jed believes the company exists to provide for the families of its employees and his favorite thing about Fastway is the people that work here.

When Jed isn’t hanging around the engineers, you might find him at the opera with his wife, which is not common for a guy that grew up on a dairy farm. But Jed loves his wife, and she loves the opera…
