Introducing the Flash Integrated Scale Ball Mount. This amazing piece of hardware heaven helps you accurately measure trailer tongue weight for safe and confident towing. Tongue weight should be 10-15% of the total trailer weight. The ISBM makes it easy to know if the trailer is loaded properly by showing how much of the trailer weight is on the tongue, or where the trailer meets the ball mount.
An easy height and ball adjustment design that helps with load balance, made from aircraft-grade aluminum, makes the journey for you and your trailer safe. With a properly balanced load enjoy improved steering, better braking control and reduced trailer sway.
The ISBM is made with aircraft-grade aluminum and weighs less than half of comparable steel ball mounts which makes carrying, adjusting and installing the ISBM easy and comfortable. However, that lightweight frame still can take the weight with a max tongue load of 1,000 lbs. and a max trailer weight of 10,000 lbs.
The ISBM is pioneering a new way of weight measurement by using a mechanical spring in the mount. Jason Harper, one of the engineers that helped design the ISBM, explained the reasoning as, “a simple design that helps bring durability, longevity and peace of mind.”
